Guidelines
- Create a climate that encourages children to feel creative.
- Remember, process is more important than product.
- Encourage choice to foster creativity.
- Offer support when needed, but interfere as little as possible.
- Provide variety in creative activities.
- Make sure your child has unstructured time to do this.
Help your child be creative through art, blocks, and pretend play.
Art activities:
- Paintbrush painting
- Finger painting
- Drawing
- Dough play
- Collage making
- Dancing
- Puppet Play
Children’s Play
- Block play or other open-ended material play
- Pretend Play
